Pink rose for Mum

Another easy craft. Love this flower. A bunch look pretty in a vase for Mother's day giving.

Spray with her favorite scent.

Bias silky fabric cut 3 x 20". Fold it in half and gather on the machine again.

No need to pull up too tightly.

Wrap around a stamen stitching as you go. Add a velvet leaf on a wire for a bit of elegance.

The wire part of the stamen can be re-inforced with more florists wire and then wrapped with something green. I used seam binding.

Make a little ruff of more binding to glue around the top of the wire to cover everything neatly.

Quick and pretty , don't you think?
