I loved Cranford last Sunday night on TV.
So well done and the hats---could not take my eyes off them.
Fascinating.
The book was my first period novel given as a gift when I was 13. That was many moons ago.
Bit worn and tatty now but I love it and the illustrations are so brilliant.

don't you just love old books like that with terrific illustrations? I sure do..they are so fun to look through and just enjoy the art sometimes.
