Part of a coverlet

Too big to show all at once, here are some parts of it.
I had a lot of silk prints that were very faded.
They looked romantic so I collaged them with lace and more silk and stitched a frame around each one.
A little sampling to enjoy.

Lovely work, as always. Wanted to also tell you I saw your work on the cover of Altered Couture (finally) that you mentioned back in July. LOVELY! Congratulations. And thanks for your July 17 posting about Artfest Honolulu. Loved the straw idea in the kids' tent and "borrowed" it for the kids at our local summer camp where I teach arts & crafts. Turned out great & kids had a ball. Hugs, Cathy

This is absolutely exquisite! My friend just sent a link to your blog and said, "It's another embroiderer!" :) I will enjoy peeking through your past creations!
