Native birds of NZ as art

These pictures are artists renditions of some of the varied NZ birds .
The Moa upper left are extinct and grew to 16" or more. They are ceramics.
The wooden morepork is the native owl of the bush, known for it's distinctive call of 'morepork'
Lower two paintings are the native pigeon and Tui bird.
The art is from a gallery near the charming town of Waiuku south of Auckland and from an artist co-op in Tauranga , NZ
