Ye olde battered tins, and some corks

Making the most of old tins
and saving corks, they are great decor.

I am a collector of our wine corks. Usually, I write on them who with and what the occasion was! It makes a great conversation piece if they're displayed where guests can read them :) As it is, I've been on a mission to find the perfect wooden bowl that's not too deep, but yet long enough to display mine in! I love the way you have yours!

My looks like you had a grand party. Alas I am a teetotal so it would take me a while to amass any.

Adore the tins

I'm glad I'm not the only one who not only likes corks, but collects and displays them. And I loved your Angel Bottle tutorial. Hugs, Cathy

I like your pictures of corks Lilla. I too have a huge collection of corks (I didn't drink all the wine I hasten to add! Friends and family used to pass them on me.) Unfortunatly mine are tucked away in a cardboard box in a cupboard - one day I'll think of what to do with them.
