using coffee stained papers

No trick really. Reverse the order.
Paint the papers with dilute instant coffee and iron when dry.
Now print the images you want sepia tinted, no running ink again.
Glue a sheet to cardstock after it is printed, and roll it into a cone and glue in place.
Decorate with lace, old trims and a ribbon hanger.
Add Xmas trinkets and hang by the mantle or on a tree.

Thanks for the tip Lilla. I am in awe that you can create something so beautiful, but sound so simple. Great inspiration.

Nicely done Lilla. I always love the shape of a cone and it being decorated. You have a beauty here and thanks for the very simple how to do it.

Aloha, Lilla! Oh how I love your paper cone! There's something magical about cones... maybe because from the time I was little, they were filled with icecream? Now that I'm older they're filled with grown-ups sweetness?
