just paper

Make pattern tissue into decor.
Here are flowers, a candle and shredded paper nest.
Got to save it all! Now where shall I put it?
If I throw it out I will regret it tomorrow.
Oh My goodness!

olde lace samplers

Here are some lace samplers to look at.
See the top one?
That will be a give away this month.
All the lace is old and gathered from here and there.
Leave a comment to describe your love of old lace and I will put it in a drawing.

Corks to capture stray ribbons

a good way to organize and keep the odd bits of ribbon and lace.
These are at an antique mall in a friend's booth.

Making the most of old tins
and saving corks, they are great decor.

tute for bottle

Add some circles of text, some of the glitter dots and tie the muslin ribbon around the neck.
You could add lace.
Please use a one loop bow, grrrh!
No funky hair bows for me.

Next step

Glue music in place.
Tear a 2x8" strip of music, may need 2 of them.
Roll up and glue to fit neck of bottle.
Dip top of cork in brown ink pad.
Glue the angel on top.
Use what you have here.
Maybe, holly sprigs, berries, buttons

My bottle makeover

As I mentioned love to decorate bottles and jars.
Did this with a Holiday theme in mind .
Find a bottle, some torn muslin ribbon or lace, glitter, glue, paper and tools.
Look for a trinket angel if possible for the top.
I will post a sheet of old music you can use.
I like the small size.

What fun is to be found in TX

My son in law uses this chef/friend for parties.
What a hoot, his car is often pulled over by police, not to ticket , but to have a good look.
Yes it passes inspections!
Check out the tie dye, everything including his utensils are dyed to match his outfits.
Socks, shoes, clothing, in back pocket, his towel and other necessities.
How about that Shaka sign?

Annabelle Purse

One of my most popular styles of purses.
I am thinking of making kits of this one.
It is easy, but looks complex when it is done.

Over the years I have sold many versions, this too is sold.
Makes a great gift for the holidays and is large enough to take to those Christmas parties.

Just jars and bottles

Love bottles and jars to decorate and hold things.
Glass is pretty and light, and best of all shows the contents.
I will be adding more pictures and ideas to use for the holidays and all year.
Look for a tutorial coming soon.
Save those pasta sauce jars, have a neat idea for them.

French decor

Just a few pictures, 'eye' candy as they say.
Until I get organized again.
Some decor items at a daughters vintage home.
Made the chair coverings with old ticking and stenciled the cushions and sachets that I filled with lavender.
Think I showed some of the sachets before, so here they are so prettily displayed.
Tres French? oui!

Hello again

Back in the Islands and ready to create, and photograph anew.
Here are some fall pumpkins made for one of my daughters.
They look very autumnal on an antique sideboard
