Yep, Kiwi Ingenuity

Must be 'cause I come from the original Kiwi village, Otorohanga in NZ.
Sweet old fashioned village in the heartland.
Rugged sheep and dairy country near the west coast.

Looks like a lovely place, Lilla! I recently found out that a dear friend of mine from my school days moved to New Zealand! She loves it there, but still has a hard time adjusting to the lack of New England snow at Christmastime. =) She and her family live in Tauranga.

Hi Lilla.....Takes one kiwi to know another. I was born in New Plymouth, lived a lot of my life in Tongaporutu (near Mokau),and also lived in Hamilton for a few years. Hence I'm quite familiar with Otorohanga and agree that it is a lovely little town. Have lived in Australia for the past 27 years but still call NZ home.
Regards Alveen

Louise, I was in Tauranga 6 months ago. Just over the mountain from Otorohanga, it is a pretty seaside town too.

Alveen, welcome to the site, glad someone knows where Oto. is!
Not may Kiwis seem to unless they are from nearby areas.
I like it that way, a well kept secret treasure.aloha Lilla
