I live in a little french attic sort of place. Very shabby and maybe not too chic.
Furnished entirely from the street, the thrift store and yes even the dumpster.
So hope that answers some who wonder.

The chevron box is decorated with images from a French book of the 1890s, a dear friend left the book to me!

Your home sounds heavenly - so lovely to be surround by such gorgeousness.
I once lived on my own, and was able to indugle myself having a very very feminine bedroom, with wonderful drapes around the bed, lace curtains, cream deep pile carpet, etc.
All that changed when I got married - but I wouldn't swap my husband for that gorgeous bedroom LOL
Some compromises are worth making in the long run!
