It is pink Saturday

I am working on some embroideries, of course must do a cottage or two.
Here is part of one I painted first and now am adding stuff, embroidery lace, fabric bits and anything else I can find in my work box.

Bundle of old fabrics here too. I collect wherever I am, in NZ, from friends, here in Hawaii and hopefully at Quilt festival in Long Beach.

The heart I am giving away has linen from an old skirt of mine. Ticking layered under organdy, some of my embroidered ribbon and stained muslin.
Hope that helps those who ask. Aloha

Oh my goodness - I have enlarged the photos of your embroidered painting and the bundle of lace - its going to be magical.

I have just enrolled for an online journal course - and have you to thank for inspiring me to 'go for it' with yours. I really am 'hungry' to make things as you do (but obviously they won't be a patch on yours, but at least I will be making a start.

I have chosen the theme - and am including a tag you sent to me with one of the bags I bought from you.

And after I have made my first journal and learned the basics - then I am going to do a French themed one - you now have me 'hooked' with all your fabulous Marie themed projects

I won't be around to wish you a happy American Independence day tomorrow.

But have a good - expect there will be lots of celebrations on the island

I adore your painting. Do you ever sell them without the embellishment so others can embellish? I would love to do one, they look like they would be so inspiring to do.

Lilla ~ For all of time ~ this will be my fave work of yours. It reminds me of the first cottage piece I saw in one of Judith Montaros (spelling) books when I first discovered crazy quilting. I have a large cottage silk in my stash and this has inspired me to pull it our and get busy!

Hi Lilla

Happy 4th July to YOU!!!

Please visit me blog as I've done a special post for my US galfriends and that includes YOU (even though you're still a KIWI at heart)!!

Such beautiful work you do, you're soooo talented and creative.

I would die for that fabric stash, please let me know if you want to sell it!

I've just bought some French General fabric on Trademe today but was quite spensy - shush cos I'm not telling my hubby!!!!!

Stunning cottage and embroidery work. I wish I had the patience to do that type of art.

I agree that your fabric bundle is so gorgeous. I thank you for your info on your fabrics. A friend of mine handed me all of her lace collection and I'm still going through it all. I feel so blessed when friends give me a gift like that.
