vintage folio

I create books and albums and journals and more, from paper and fabric.
One of my passions I must admit.
Here is a glimpse of one I made to celebrate beauty, women and French vintage.
I hand bound it with yarns and beads.
There are some pockets inside, some old lace and lovely pictures.
Here just a couple of the pages.

Very beautiful and mysterious at the same time. Who doesn't love a little mystery?

All those lovely pictures must have there own story, how clever to make something so beautiful to capture those hidden tales,

The one that says "True" on the front is my favorite. She really does have an air of mystery about her. Lovely.

I have just arrived here via Inspirational and that it such an appropriate word to describe your work. I love your journals especially "True" - i have this in a card. Actually I have made several pages of a fabric journal on pre-raphaelite women's faces - feels so similar to your work.
Just all gorgeousness here on your blog - there is definitely some resonance here.
All best wishes,
Suzy
