Project and give away

Thanks to all who follow my work and seem to like it
Aloha nui.
Here is a quick and easy holiday detail for the window, how about a flock?

Easy, trace shape onto cardboard.
Glue on old lace or doily .
Trim around and if liked rub on some brown ink.
Add button eye.
For decoration, accordion fold a piece of pattern tissue, add lace scrap and a charm and glue on.
I like to keep the hanger simple so a torn piece of muslin works for me.

This will be a give away so leave me a comment and again I will draw a name from my battered old cap.

You manage to add so much texture to all your projects and this lovely dove/bird is no exception.

It is truly stunning and would be perfect hanging up all year around.

Who ever is the lucky winner could make her own little flock - all different.

Good luck everybody - to own Lilla original is a worthy prize indeed.

I am lucky enough to have bought a number of Lilla's bags, and each time I use one - which is most times I go out (but not in the snow), folks remark on how gorgeous they are, and ask where I got them from. It makes me feel very proud to say that they have come all the way from Hawaii and that each one is original.

Lilla, you have used so many design elements that I just love; the bird, vintage lace, layering. Oh so nice.

Lilla I am a very new follower but really relate to your work so much. I love all of your projects and materials etc. not to mention your inspiration above all else.
I would love to be in your draw especially from your old tattered cap - that's keeping it simple and natural.

Fabulous idea, Lilla. I would love to hang this in my studio window, you know, the one that is above the dresser top that holds all the Lilla creations. wink wink
