Appreciate the wishes

So nice to get all the good wishes for my trip home
My Mum is a lovely 97 years old. What a lady!
To answer those who asked about my home town, it is Otorohanga in the King Country.
One of you sound like you know where that is. Pretty awesome.
Rather remote and wild country. Has a lot of history.
Here is the sewing bag that I made to go with some of the French Attic heirlooms shown below.
Drawing the give away on Friday so I have time to mail it.

What a dear little bag Lilla - you must have such a stack of doilies.
They are so loveable!
What a great age your mum is - lets hope you too have a long life. My dad turns 90 next week. A wonderful man indeed too!

Yes Lilla, I know it well. I was born and raised in the Tongaporutu/Mokau area.
Our elders are living to a great age aren't they. My Mum is 98 and still as sharp as a tack. I'm sure your Mother is greatly anticipating your visit.

Hope you had the best visit ever with you Mom. The little bag is so "country" and adorable.
Glad you are home safe and sound.

Dear Lilla
It's such a lovely bag!

Your dear Mother will be counting the days until you walk through her door - they will be very precious moments for you two together I'm sure.

"Welcome Home" Lilla, as the kiwi Dave Dobbyn song goes!
