Keeping nimble fingers

I find I do have to bring back former ideas and methods when I create, do not want to lose them.
My fingers need to remember how I worked and my brain must constantly process the details.
Older techniques like knitting and crochet for example, now what was the best way to cast on?
I am amazed how I forget.
Anyway I like few words in posts, so that stated, here is some crazy quilting I am working on at present.

Lovely Miss Lilla. CQ is on my to do list for the future. I agree with you about the forgetting part...I must do it or I forget how I did it.

Gorgeous and love the embroidery work! I can just imagine how beautiful the finished piece will be! And isn't it so true, if we don't use it, we lose it, lol.

Beautiful colours, beautiful details, you sure remember how to crazy quilt. I do agree, it is so easy to forget basic things if you don't practice them for a long time. Must get out the knitting needles this winter.
