At the Brocante Marche' in Paris

We went to this market on 2 different days.
Found it quite expensive and the vendors not so ready to bargain.
We stayed in North Paris near the Gare du Nord,  so this meant 4 Metro changes, and lots of stairs, to reach the Marche' way in the south of the city.

Worth the expedition, lovely old area around Porte de Vanves.

Pure JOY - I could look at brocante images all day and night. Don't even talk to me about the metro - I was completely turned around in Paris.

Beautiful looking treasures - well worth the 4 metro changes and sore legs too no doubt!
I thought most things were expensive too - not so many bargains to be had any more - too many overseas dealings buying and shipping home to sell for moonbeams no doubt...

What a gorgeous display of cabinet cards and linen - I'm sure it was worth all that leg work Lilla and that you have at least bought home SOME tresors that were worth it!
