Midnight in Paris

Another CQ heart. I now have to complete the back of it.
This is one of my favorite types of embroidery.
I added lots of beading and silk ribbon-work
about 9 inches high.
Quite dimensional and textural. I work hard to put as much color as is appropriate into my embroideries, so that means all my lace is hand dyed by me, some of the ribbons too!
Thought you would enjoy this glimpse of Christmas in Paris.

This is my kind of beauty Lilla.
So very rich is that velvet with all of the dyed laces and ribbons.
Gorgeous! Gorgeous!

The heart does have a lot of color and texture which I love. Beautiful piece and if that's Christmas in Paris, I want to visit.
