Vintage workbag
I love to make these but they do take some time.
This has 6 images surrounding the base and 3 different fabrics.
Stands on a firm base.
I changed it quite a lot but the pattern is in a book by Mary Jo Hiney, named
Making decorative fabric covered boxes.
I hope it is still in print.
Gone to England now.
Miss Lilla this is lovely. My Grandmother used to take greeting cards and cut them to shape, punch little holes and then crochet every edge and sew them together to make little baskets and boxes and such. I always loved them. They looked similar to this little pouch. Creative Hearts are Happy Hearts...
Like Createology I thought about the crocheted cards when I saw this too. I just love this! Is there a pattern available to those of us making bucket lists?

Stunning work, Lilla. Its as if you've step back in time.
enjoy your trip. love the bag.
This is so sweet, a great alternative for those of us who cannot crochet the cards together.
Love
