My gift stocking

I made these for friends and family to hold treasures and gift cards
If you want to sew some you need........................

five different prints, fat quarters are fine
thin quilt batting
backing and lining, same as two of the prints buy 2 more quarters

cut lengths of fabrics and sew on diagonal  to quilt onto the batting, see pattern 1.5 " -  2" wide
cut backing and 2 linings see pattern, seams included
cut cuff fabric and hanger see pattern.
make in usual way  and pull cuff into place
stitch on the leaves and berries

I drew holly leaves and sewed 2 together and turned right side out, cut slit in back so it does not show.              make 2
Berries are 1.5 inch circles stitched around with a little stuffing added before drawing up tightly,                     make 3
My pattern is 9 inches tall seams included.
Hope you make some and show me!

a merry bunch

You have been so busy . . . these are wonderful. I have been going through some of your past posts and fell in love with your art dress with the Paris theme. So adorable.
Here's wishing you many fun and happy creative days getting ready for Christmas.
